Highlighted Projects

The November Dwelling

A towering mini-unit composed of steel, concrete, wood, and glass, this small unit is mainly a private getaway.

Suited high off the ground this unit puts you in the tree canopy, or above, depending on geographic installment, that provides an emphasis on the outside by utilizing picture frame windows scattered like off stacked blocks.

The warm interior and high set loft grant this place to be bigger than it actually is.

Equipped with a living space, small kitchen, private nook, full bath, and open to below loft, it would be hard to leave.

Canopy House

With the living and entertaining quarters on the second floor, and the bedrooms tucked down and underneath, this house presents open space living to it's fullest potential. The foyer conceals itself away from the house to instigate a private entry, once beyond the threshold, the home opens up into the living and kitchen. With the glass folding door to act as a protection from harsher outside elements, in more temperate climates it can be opened all the way allowing a seamless transition from indoors to outdoors. Also granting outdoor dining next to the kitchen and living space.

Following the glass sided hallway, you'll come to the stairs that winds you towards rooms, or a larger master suite if needed, stowed further away from the entertaining spaces, granting a more private and quiet atmosphere.

Arrowhead Accessory Dwelling Unit

From a thought, I decided to add a spec unit along in here due to the potential it can hold for actual, and practical living.

Centered in the unit is the main structural support. 8" concrete walls that host a set of I-Beams that in turn hold the floor system for the main living space. Equipped with a small kitchenette, a powder bath, one bedroom with storage and an effective living space lined in glass grants the owner, or guest, an advantage on the view. With an overhang of 3' - the roof line now adds a bit more comfort during the warmer months and grants effective consumption of warmth during the colder ones.

Aspen Hills Bunkhouse

A handsome addition to the existing structure on the property, located above Cedaredge, Colorado on the Grand Mesa, this unit acts as a quiet place to escape to. Reflecting a gallery like atmosphere, the emphasis of this unit is to exploit the South-Western corridor. A bank of windows accompanied by a small

fireplace grants the user a spectacular view during every season while also staying comfortable and warm.
